is a new service based on DSL (Digital Subscriber Loop) technology
that uses existing copper cables to deliver high speed data access
to the Internet. IDSL services are being offered in a Residential
and Business class of service.
To
choose the service option that meets your needs you will need
to decide on either Residential or Business service and the Port
and CIR that you would like.
Port
- This is the maximum speed of the connection.
CIR
- Committed Information Rate is the data rate that you are guaranteed
to get regardless of the network load. Generally you will
be able to burst to your port speed but when there is network
congestion you will always be guaranteed your CIR.
